What's the best posture to sing on? Also, can I sound good singing while laying down?

I wonder how I sound with this song recording I made in bed last night.

Should I only sing while sitting from now on? How about while standing?

The equipment I used was this Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphone, a tablet from 2017 (LG G Pad X 8.0) and a Bluetooth speaker on my bedside. I unfortunately don't have access to a recording studio in this town because apparently this town is too small to have one.

The song is "A Ride To Dillons," to the tune of "God Bless Texas."

You’ll usually have the most range and depth standing up, so that your throat is unobstructed and your lungs are able to expand unhindered. But yes, powerful singers can also sound very good sitting or lying down.

You don't sound great. Definitely need to practice good form and practice a lot to build strength and control. In-person lessons would do you wonders.

Best posture is standing up straight. This lets your diaphragm stretch out and makes it much easier for a beginner to engage it. For a beginner I recommend always singing like this. More experienced singers can sound good in a sitting position but it's a more advanced technique.
