When I get my own house one day, I want to install a doorbell that plays a unique ringtone - one that the owner downloads onto his doorbell.
For the sake of variety, I want a doorbell that that plays different ringtones at certain times of day - a morning tune that plays from 6 AM - Noon, a tune appropriate for the afternoon at that time, and etc.
Or, different ringtones for different days.
I suppose all it would take for ringtones to be downloaded onto doorbells is for its master-bell to have a USB port for thumb drives, then once a thumb drive is inserted, a tiny screen on the doorbell's master-bell asks you which songs to choose for upload, and etc. Or the master bell can communicate wirelessly with your laptop.
ARE THERE ANY DOORBELLS LIKE THAT? ANY AT ALL IN EXISTENCE?
If not, then you might be looking at its inventor! A ringtonable doorbell isn't too difficult to prototype now, is it?
Original Title: "ENG's Ideas, Inventions, and Innovations Journal"
This blog, started 3-15-2005, contains journal entries and also ideas, innovations, and inventions that come to mind.
Note: All personal entries that aren't the 3 I's will be labeled "(Personal Entry)" on the titles' ends.
My blog is now "BIG YES BOMB" because I found Jason Carter on Facebook one night and asked, "Are you...
...Elder Carter from Nagasaki?" His answer is the title today!
