Sentient Androids= The ULTIMATE Cash Cows? (Part 6)

Eventually, when I have more money than I know how to deal with
...STILL at 1% of what I earn, then I will dump huge chunks of my fortune into the following research efforts:

  • Teleportation
  • Faster-Than-Light Travel
  • Navigational Deflection (for FTL starships)
  • Inertial Dampening (for FTL starships)
  • Holodeck Development
  • Planet Terraforming
  • The "Exameter Road" (Discussed in another post)
  • And much, much more!

Moreover, the androids will also help research those new technologies.

One little thing to consider- Other people will have androids, too.
Inevitably, they will also ask their androids to make money for them. When they all carry out the same types of orders, you can barely imagine how good the economy will get, and how fast it will advance!

Yes, there will be competition between android-run business, but they will keep out-competing and out-smarting each other in an "intelligence race" of sorts without end!

What will eventually happen? I'm not sure so lets hear what YOU have to say! I'll have refutes ready as necessary.

Conclusion
I'm certainly looking forward to the future. I hope you are, too. Any comments or questions about anything I wrote in the entire entry? Please ask away!

your ideas make me recall my 'grandiose idea phase' when i was 9 or 10. my friend and i were collaborating on grandiose projects that could never have worked. for example, i made a teleportation theory based on a subject i knew NOTHING about, i made an idea for a botanic starship that i scrapped after thinking of 13 things inherently wrong with it, there was an idea involving nanobots, and one involving a submarine. My point is, i learned to tink of cons first, and scrap the bad ideas to prevent wasting time and brainpower.
