[Request] How many times are bans given anywhere on Reddit every minute? Hour? Day? Week? Month? Year?

I'd like to know how serious the ban epidemic is.

“The ban epidemic” is a weird phrase. It’s not a contagious illness.

It’s a huge site, and there are likely tens of thousands of active communities.

Ban of one sub, ban by the admins for the site?

This isn’t a math problem. This is a research problem. The data doesn’t exist publicly for this.

I know i mod a very large sub and a ban a day wouldn’t be weird. 10 a day would be a lot. 1 a week would be surprising. Is that an “epidemic”?

Some other subs ban anyone who participates in dozens of other subs. They probably ban dozens a day.

Small subs may never ban anyone.

Reddit admins ban people for spam quite a bit.

Temp bans, permanent bans?
