Why didn't I get to live in a parallel timeline where Kamala Harris won the Presidency? I want nothing to do with the Trump Timeline.

Why didn't I get to live in a parallel timeline where Kamala Harris won the Presidency? I want nothing to do with the Trump Timeline.

And if I die in an accident, will I wake up in a parallel universe where Kamala is President? Should I stop wearing a seat belt? I drive close to 500 miles a week for my job.

Same thoughts here! I really just keep telling myself “maybe it has to go super bad now before we get super good….” One can only stay optimistic 🥲

[–]quixoticadrenaline 8 points

Yeah, but the reality is that it takes days/weeks to dismantle democracy, but years and years and years to rebuild it. I hate it here.

[–]stunatra 1 point

If only we really had democracy

[–]Rene_G_18 2 points

The whole world is a sham - we’re just meant to exist and try to be happy but greed and corruption run rampant and deep it seems

[–]Rene_G_18 1 point

Maybe we rebuild and make it a better place for the future, as millennials and gen-z or whatever (not knowledgeable on this) we’ve seen all kinds of fuck ups. Eventually, we will inherit what’s left - we can either let it consume and destroy us, or we try our best to make it the best place it can be with whatever we are given and hope that it will eventually get better again. Hope is key! 🔥

Same here too. Last March I got a massive download of what this year would bring, who would win and a lot of fire (I didnt know that it would be so literal). The whole message was about in order to reset a system it has to reach a peak swing the other way, that it would look like chaos because there will be so much going on. I was told it’s the only way a complete reboot can happen, and if it’s stopped halfway then we will have to repeat these lessons.

I was then reminded that nature is chaos and chaos shouldn’t be feared, know that when you are in that you’re halfway there. The message was that there will be an ending and it will be peaceful and that it’s important for enough people to believe it’s possible. The simple exercise I was given is that you just imagine a future you smiling back at you to create a point in time and enough harmonics to hold the vision.

Yeah this afternoon I got a feeling that everything has to get bad or ridiculous for people to click out of it....I have a feeling whoever gets to be the next one leading us out of this will be someone who's a straight woman or part of the LGBTQ. Sadly, I think that's one way people will stop judging minorities and be grateful we have people who are trying to fight for our freedom regardless of their color, gender or sexual orientation.

[–]NeptuneAndCherry 2 points

it’s important for enough people to believe it’s possible

This exactly 100x. My thoughts on how this all works aren't fully formed, but this ^ idea rings true

[–]angeryreaxonly 2 points

This is EXACTLY what I feel to be true.

[–]peanutsandsquirrels 2 points

Yes and the other part of the message was that we all have to break free of the paradigm of that it’s all happening to us (this keeps us small) and that it’s happening for us (this allows us to grow and rise up). We cannot grow without pressure, or a catalyst. Every catalyst has helped to shape us and our trajectory to do the inner work and realize that we are the ones that make it a reality. I tell my kids all of the time, “you made your emotions, you made them, not anyone else, so don’t give them away for someone else to figure out. What do your emotions teach you?” Whatever emotion that they are creating then their body is wanting more of the polar opposite of that emotion and if I ever get triggered by my kids then that’s my shadow work. When I shift they shift and the people around me shift too, that’s how this all shifts. One by one and then it’s undone.

Before the election I had a powerful wave of dread and doom as I could feel a new dark age was coming, and that times were changing and that things will get weirder.

[–]NeptuneAndCherry 3 points

Maybe we both "saw" the future, just different parts of it

[–]king_of_hate2 2 points

To be more specific I did feel hopeful Kamala would win or I at least wanted her too but I still felt like either way the future was dark, at the time and although I do agree Kamala would be much better but I think there's a lot of external factors too for example climate change, wars erupting around the globe, disease/ viruses spreading more, ntm the fact that I realized the trend in America for the past centur 50 years or so that government and big corporations just keep getting more powerful and I'll admit I follow a few conspiracies and I genuinely believe our government knows a lot more regarding aliens and UFOs than we're aware and I think they might have some sort of influence on our world but I'm not sure how much and I think this leads into the fact that our government might be more powerful than it seems and it's been proven before with former conspiracies that were revealed to be true like Project MK Ultra is that the government will do sinister things to the public and not tell us, it made sense that things would continue to get more dystopic especially with technology like AI rapidly becoming better. So it seemed to me dark times were inevitable but unfortunately we got the worst option for president.

Bruh same here I cannot believe this shit 😭

[–]OCCAMINVESTIGATOR 2 points

Maybe you are the right person to catalyze the shift you felt but couldn't fully perceive.

The timeline you felt couldn't be fully realized without you (and maybe more like you) being the actual catalyst.

[–]NeptuneAndCherry 1 point

Reminds me of the Delores Cannon book, The Three Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth. Gonna have to read that again

[–]Jpwatchdawg 1 point

More than likely, the off feeling may steam from a realization of the actual reality of the world. The current problems have existed for decades now. It's just the ugly truths that need to be recognized along with potential changes of one's worldviews, which can come with an ontological shock if the ugly truths are new to your world view perspective. Jeffery sachs is a geopolitical expert who may be able to help you better understand the timeline of events that the American taxpayers have had the truth subverted about. https://youtu.be/u4c-YRPXDoM?si=E7e5Dkp_nfGq-zdR

My mom said Gore was the reason for the only time she ever voted for a republican - I don’t know why, but she did. Never knew what was so bad about him (born in 97 so really don’t know much)

[–]TheArtofLosingFaster 24 points

Gore didn’t have a lot of “personality,” especially compared to Clinton, and so it made GW look like a likeable guy in contrast. I think that’s where the “he looks like the kind of guy I could have a beer with” came into the conversation. It seems absurd at the time—who cares if the president is someone they could imagine as a casual friend?

[–]Sapien0101 2 points

I wasn’t politically active back then. The only thing I can think of is that he got roped into the Lewinsky sex scandal. Guilty by association. But someone older can chime in and give better info.

So much of our troubles trace back to 911.

[–]Lyuseefur 1 point

9/11/2001

That is the inflection point

[–]weirdrevolution11 2 points

Nah. 9/11 was definitely a thing that changed relevant outcomes in this timeline. It didn’t alter anything else from where I’m standing / typing right now: we got thrown into a wild new world but ask anyone that served in desert.

[–]king_of_hate2 1 point

Can't you technically argue the timeline diverged with every political decision?

[–]NiftyTit 1 point

What about y2k

[–]tweakingashley 16 points

I wonder, how many people here, right now have a history of running from problems?

Would be interesting to see if it's a trend among us here. I for one have the history, but this has made me into a political activist... I'm more outgoing, talk to people, meet them where they are.

Maybe we really are here to learn a lesson?

[–]Lilliphim 4 points

I think as humans in general we probably all have this issue on some level and this is a big moment in time for us to rise to the occasion! Seeing the way we all do this has definitely turned me towards political activism and justice too! Me personally I have ran from my mental health and discomfort for a long time, not because I wanted to but like most people you basically get a bunch of things thrown at you and everyone says good luck lol.

Maybe it would have been more accurate for me to say, maybe we’re here to learn foresight and healthy awareness so we don’t take shelter from things we actually need to face!

[–]shadowromantic 5 points

Just on this timeline, Americans have a long history of running from their problems

[–]sashiko 6 points

Funny enough, I think that's why a lot of our ancestors came to America, so we own that genetically, lol

[–]foreveryoungperk 1 point

holy crap. im a runner

[–]Lilliphim 1 point

We all have to take our running skills we’ve developed so far and figure out how to pedal this shit show into a better timeline fast 😭 but I have hope!

[–]BrentTheShaman 27 points

Why not live in a better timeline? The old system was garbage anyways. Let's not strive to get back to the status quo. Now is the time for actual change. Goodness for all. ✌

[–]kansai2kansas 8 points

I agree, that’s the only way we can spin all this bleakness into something better in the future.

The days of being mired in neverending addiction of the status quo to foreign wars under the guise of “freedom”, starting from Korean war, Vietnam war, and further wars in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan etc (promoted by establishment GOP and Dem politicians alike) is basically over.

Unfortunately we have to undergo thru all this bullshit first with the tariffs, deportations, and destructions of key alliances before we see the light on the other side.

I mean, look at Germany and Japan now…just 80 years ago they were widely reviled for Nazism and imperialistic war crimes all over Asia.

But these days, almost everyone would love to travel to Japan and/or Germany if they have the chance.

[–]shadowromantic 9 points

The US just donated 4 billion in arms to Israel. We're not done with foreign wars; we've just decided to abandon or attack most of our allies

[–][deleted] 4 points

As with ALL manifestation... Affirm and persist!

[–]stunatra 1 point

My pleasure 😊

[–]Remarkable-Foot9630 4 points

Hillary Clinton was a grifting choice. “ I’m with her.” It was a diversity choice, and she was married to a likable president. Unfortunately Hillary wasn’t likable. Neither was Kamala Harris. Lots of strong women Congresswoman and governors, both Hillary and Kamala are wishy-washy and enjoyed dividing and pandering.

Myself, as a (49/f) democrat I wanted a different choice the last three elections. It has been more of the same for 12 years it is just stagnant water for mosquitoes to breed. No real change will happen, just more fear mongering and poop throwing.

Bernie was a far better candidate for the 2016, 2020 and 2024 election he would have won.

[–]Gullible-Constant924 0 points

She had no ideas but status quo beats fucking all of us to give rich people tax breaks and making us look like assholes in the eyes of the world in the process.

[–]Dull_Bid6002 2 points

You do not wake up in a parallel universe where Harris won, you start over and forget most of this timeline if not all of it. We just cycle through timelines over and over again upon death. And while you might think you're going to get a different timeline, you'll probably still end up here.

Or if you're really unlucky, you can get stuck between time.

[–]LowCommittee4494 2 points

Everything is scripted, fake, political theater.. it doesn’t matter whos “in charge” it’s all BS to keep us divided and fearful.

[–]Plastic-Smile-6766 5 points

I think you're stuck with the one you've got till you die buddy.

[–]Plastic-Smile-6766 1 point

You're right, I believe you. This just ain't the one you want.

[–]aceycamui 1 point

[–]TiburonMendoza95 -3 points

I'm also only ok with my bombs to have rainbows on em. Same coin. Different side. Imperialist born rich capitalist scum. ☭ will win

[–]Somethingtosquirmto -9 points

There are NO alternate realities or timelines where Kamala won the presidency.
Alternates where the democrats ran someone else and won? Sure.

[–]BadAdviceBot 7 points

Any timelines where one party didn’t systematically suppress millions of votes? I’m sure some timelines like that exist, if we’re talking infinite timelines

[–][deleted] -5 points

Be thankful, that timeline would’ve sucked so much ass.

[–]xHangfirex -4 points

Just like kamala's leadership abilities, it would only be make believe.

[–]emilyana13 -3 points

[–]NeptuneAndCherry 5 points

Idk what you did but I sure as fuck don't deserve this
