As a 40M Doordasher, I must leave Trumpland for any safe LCOL country before he dismantles democracy so much that leaving becomes hard.

I have a bachelor's in Social Sciences and a minor in Leadership.

What countries happily let the Anti-Trump establishment get away from Trumpland AKA the USA in order to escape the Orange Mussolini's dictatorial policies?

I hope to find out before he dismantles our democracy so much it makes leaving his country hard.

I have $608/month of SSDI on top of my Doordash income, and unlike SSI, SSDI still gets deposited even when I move overseas, except unless the recipient moves to any of the few communist countries.

My SSDI might go up when my Doordash income ends. It could become $1000 or so per month. What safe LCOL countries let you live reasonably on $1000/month? Will Rwanda be okay? Will they accept Anti-Trump US Citizens and let them take refuge from Trump as expats?

If you are currently not an expat, and are looking for information about emigrating, you are required to ask specific questions about a specific destination or set of destinations. This means you should have already put some thought and research into where you might want—and be able—to go.

You must provide context for your questions which may be relevant. No one is an expert in your eligibility to emigrate, so it’s expected that you will have already done some research to get an idea of what countries you might be able to get a visa for.

r/iwantout may be a better sub for you to post in. Make sure you abide by their rules as well.

Mods, we need to create a megathread already for these "running away from Trump's America, seeking advice" posts. It's the same cyclical advice over and over and it's getting ridiculous.

Basic points:

- There's no such thing as an "American refugee"

- Every other country will treat you as a foreigner who needs to go through a legal process to get status, usually requiring years

- Some countries will let you buy permanent residence, but on your income you won't be able to afford it

- Be prepared to learn another language, work and integrate into a LCOL's society, and not just run there to mooch off of them with your American dollars

- You have a degree and it's within your affordability to get a TELF certificate to teach English

- Your social sciences / leadership degree is not a competitive education/profession that will get you a work visa anywhere

For other info, do a google search of this sub for virtually every other person who has ever posted on this subject.
