Just stupid. I don't really blame gen z for it either. Mellinials got the first taste of childhood dial up, zoomers got youtube/vines/tiktok babysetter. Gen alpha isn't helping with their evolving shit talking, skibidi toilet got ahold of them and then people started pulling the internet plug so they are leveling out. But zoomers, they have had soft parenting, the gender identity/trans becoming a trend for the alt kids, daywalker furries becoming common, its wild. Then in the midst 3 years of covid during the formative asult social skills development time for most zoomers at diffrent stages.

But at a certain point, probably well past, we need to bring back shaming for actual issues not annoying shit like grocery carts. Like we need to acknowledge that people were cashing others with camers and posting it on social media for not putting a fucking grocery cart back.

its worse than you think. I'm an immigrant to the states, and the lack of any discipline the kids in my wealthy central MA town recieve is insane, and really shows in their behavior. It's not just the "alt kids", furries are completely open in my high school and a school statistic shows that about 25% of the kids are LGBTQ+, and 43% of the girls in specific. They are so obnoxious about it as well, and nobody is allowed to say anything. We have a giant trans pride mural that after covid replaced what used to be a painting of the town seal(because the town seal contains the cotton gin, which is now racist because slaves picked cotton), and stuff like a trans kid with blue hair, black makeup, and a ball gown crashing out and flipping a desk in biology class over the teacher teaching that men have XY chromosomes and women have XX chromosomes in my class a few weeks ago are not even talked about as being abnormal.

My generation is so cooked bro
