JSYK, my Town is too small to have its own recording studio. That's why I recorded with this smartphone, a tablet and a Bluetooth speaker while in bed.

If I ever gain access to a recording studio, then I'll have a better shot at making a living off of these parodies and contrafacta, will I?

Jesus Christ, you are back? You have had this same discussion in this sub previously and you were told that:

1: Your songs aren't good

2: The name is highly inappropriate

Keep trying to write, but use a different name. It is doubtful any parody artist will get to Al's level of fame any time soon. Al is still around, and there's too many people making YouTube parodies that the field is diluted

Moreover, if after attending one of Weird Al's concerts on a tour around the country, I got to participate in a meet-and-greet and told him my stage name and aspirations to take over as the premier song parodist after he retires, how would he likely react?

Also, how would he likely react to any of my parodies / contrafacta if I were to play them for him?

He has been visibly annoyed when people share parodies to him. He will be polite and patient but he won't be glad you did it.

If he wants to hear parodies he will find them himself.

Most importantly, your "stage name" is inappropriate fan behavior. And, having seen your previous attempts to discuss this here, I noticed that whenever anyone tried to explain why your aspirations to be like a son to him through professional succession or adoption is an egregious overstepping of boundaries, a disturbing lack of social sense, and generally disrespectful behavior then you would respond as if our reasons were obstacles instead of a simplr answer.

You're not his son. It is an absurdly unhealthy goal to become his son in any semblance of the word. You don't have his consent for this stagename and you won't get it. And you are set to make a very awkward uncomfortable impression on him. I could bet you anything that AT BEST you would get a polite suggestion to ditch the name if not be told outright that your behavior is making him ubcomfortable.

you want to express yourself? go for it. i hope your find your audience making absurd dadaist content. But this Son Of Weird Al garbage is disturbing. I mean like Arthur Fleck Joker levels of disturbing.
