Email was cool. Chatrooms and ICQ. Pics weren’t a common thing to post. Not much out there at the time.

Had to wait until the phone wasn’t in use lol. Ain’t have shit just America online and Microsoft paint 🤣🤣

Well, I watched a lot of Stampy videos on the Minecraft launcher. Then I got porn ads on Internet Explorer.

I was pretty good at knowing what I was able to accomplish in the time it took to connect. For example, on an average day, I could get my clothes for the day ready while the computer booted, then get dressed and brush my teeth while I waited to connect to the Internet.

We got dial-up when I was like 10 (I’m still young, family was out of touch) and the internet seemed basically useless. I don’t think I really got into it til I had some nerdier friends when I was 15, and they got me into classic Minecraft and convinced me to get modern day internet. From then on life has never been the same. (Yeah the iPhone 4s was releasing by the time we got standard internet)
