How many minutes at a time does the typical Japanese citizen run the Washlet? How abnormal is it for me to run my bidet-attachment for over 30 minutes at a time, sometimes even over an hour?

What is the water bill like for Japanese households?

How often do Japanese apartment tenants have to pay their own water bill?

Back in America, the only utility I need to pay at my apartment is the electricity. Therefore, it's of pretty much no consequence to use lots of water to make my oshiri clean like a Lexus showroom and make me feel like I'm getting a massaging session for an extended amount of time while losing more weight through the enema feature.

How would a Japanese property manager react at my water use statistics if I used a Washlet liberally at an apartment in Japan?

Thankfully, my property manager back home in Kansas never commented to me about my water usage probably because each apartment doesn't have its own water meter; just the entire building, but our rents go up by $25 at a time every few years.

Avoid low effort questions, this includes yes/no questions, joke questions or questions that could be simply answered by looking up on Google.

A few seconds to 10-15 seconds at most. Nobody uses it for 30 minutes. Definitely out of the ordinary.

The weird question aside, what’s the point of the Japanese text that’s clearly machine translation?

Japanese people are capable of using Google Translate too.

The translation itself isn’t incorrect for the most part, though the Lexus showroom analogy doesn’t really come off and the part about you only paying for electric reads like a general statement about the US.

It’s just that it reads like it was written by someone who’s writing in Japanese for the very first time.

Washlet? The bidet/thing to wash your ass?

I’d say people in Japan take a long time in the bathroom whenever you are waiting for it.
