Will I be less rude surfing Reddit on my smartphone in a theater if I sit in the farthest back row?

No one behind me can see me surf and use apps on my phone because I'd be in the furthest back row.

So will it still be rude? Is it less rude than doing the same thing on the very front row?

Do everyone a favor, including your pocketbook, and just stay home and watch Netflix.

OK then. To answer your question, the people in front of you won't notice, but everyone in your aisle will notice and get annoyed.

Keep your phone on silent and it shouldn’t matter where you sit.

It’s not a live performance.

Please stay home as well. Yes it does matter, its rude and distracting to everyone else.

Yes to anyone around you or close to you, even those in front of you. Don’t. Just don’t be that asshole.
