I don't think I'll say his first name because someone here who works at the one Chick-fil-A in my city could tip him off about my post. But he's the one employee there with an amputated arm. I see him on a regular basis because I deliver from there (alongside dozens of other restaurants) for Doordash.

If I had an amputation, I'd be embarrassed to show this to the public, so I'd get a prosthetic arm ASAP. So why doesn't the Chick-fil-A shift lead get a prosthetic arm? Chick-fil-A employees get good health insurance from their employer, right?

He still has his upper arm; he's amputated at the elbow.

Maybe he can’t afford it wtf. Maybe he’s used to it and doesn’t want one.

Health insurance? From CFA? It's a joke.

Some people don't care. And tbh, neither should you, at least when it comes to someone else. This post almost comes across as rude. So what, they don't have a prosthetic.

Or better yet, just don't ask. Anyone. Some thoughts are better left at that, as thoughts.

Probably so he can make the guy that delivers for doordash feel madly uncomfortable and embarrassed to the point that he spends his spare time creating posts on reddit about stuff that is absolutely none of his business.

(Please note the sarcasm). It's not your business, it never will be, and autism (see the Cross post) does not excuse your blatant ignorance and rudeness.

As an arm amputee myself, its because above elbow prosthesis is suck to use, most of the time it gets in my way more than help. I could accomplish most of the tasks with just my right arm though. I also just leave my empty sleeve drape down when I am teaching.
