Who else here only spends $20-$25/week on fuel? If you got to spend that little on fuel each week, how would that make you feel?

I filled up my 2018 Prius Prime Premium (a plug-in hybrid) for the first time in 8 days yesterday, when my "Trip A" odometer that I reset upon every fill-up, hit 480 miles. The cost of the fill-up on Wednesday the 16th was just $21.00. (About 4.4 cents per mile.) I drive several hundred miles a week for Doordash and only need an oil change once every 10,000.

My tire rotations are every 5,000 but since I bought all 4 of my current tires from the Toyota dealership, said rotations are free, along with the complementary multi-point inspection.

What is the Y/M/M and fuel mileage of your ride? How often do you refuel and how much does it cost each time?

At least the operating costs on my ride are quite low but I still have a $498.51/month auto loan, paid ahead to where the next payment isn't due til September.

I keep a fueling log and update it at every fill-up. That's to keep better track of my fueling costs and also helpful for tax purposes. See screenshot.

I also have a 2019 Nissan Sentra! I take advantage of things like Cumberland Farms too where you get money off on gas. They used to have it where if you bought x items you’d get an extra ten cents off per gallon (I was stocking up on Monsters and Mountain Dews) but they seem to have stopped doing that with the app update in April. But yeah, I take what I can get in saving per gallon!

All Priuses are cheap. I just bought one for $2000. Brand new are like 28k and get 58mpg

So they you spend more money on "fuel" then you say. It's just a different kind of fuel

My wife has a 2025 Mazda 3 and I have a 2022 Model Y. We pay $133/month through Progressive. We're also 40 with no claims/tickets ever though.

I spend at LEAST $200 on fuel. I only make like $500 a week. listen, I know you guys would probably be like wtf am I doing. But I cannot hold any other job. I am autistic and disabled and I lack social skills, this is the only job I can’t get fired from!
