What will all the improvements be for the Z Fold 7 getting released this fall, over the Z Fold 5?

What will all the improvements be for the Z Fold 7 getting released this fall, over the Z Fold 5?

How much thinner? Will the max storage limit be 1 TB? And what other features will be improved and present that wasn't in the Z Fold 5?

And how much will a 1 TB model cost?

How much will I get for my Z Fold 5 if I turn it in at an ecoATM? Am I better off donating to the BrightHouse women's charity?

For being a big phone they should really upgrade the inside camera aswell for stuff like meetings

I honestly can't see what else they can do to the phone to make it better aside from finding a way to include an spen inside and maybeeee a mag safe equivalent😬

Honestly same, hopefully they also increase battery life but just a better aspect ratio is the reason I'm upgrading

Battery is supposed to be the same size and still slow as hell to change compared to every other folding screen.

I personally don't have any complaints about charge time I use their super fast charger

Rumours point to bigger screens and better cameras but knowing Samsung they will only do one of them things.

First off, I would not donate a folding phone to anyone TBH. Folding phones are just not durable enough. If you want to be charitable, sell it and donate. Look up videos of the Galaxy fold Special edition. It's basically the size and shape of what the fold 7 is expected to be. Supposedly the pricing is going to be the same as the fold 6 and no storage changes have been rumored.

No I stream everything on my phone. my tab S10 Ultra has a 512GB SD card with some stuff on it since they don't have a Cellular version here in the states and even then it's A LOT of media lol

I got the 1.5 TB Sandisk ultra when it came out but now they have a extreme 2 TB and extreme pro 2 TB. Wild. Though I wish I could get SD card back on phone because I always like watching TV shows when eating and restaurant wifi isn't always great for plex...

Yeah, I never join public wifi for anything. Plex works well on 4G/5G cell service. I usually have my 5G antenna turned off, noticed a healthy battery boost that way.

Recording high quality/4k videos and taking pictures frequently.

I don't even take pictures and record videos often, but a few years of doing that on rare occasions and migrating them to your next phone has got me at about 300GB.

Ah ok. yeah I let my cloud backup handle all that. It doesn't live on my phone from one gen to another. Makes sense.

It will be the SE just slightly better. I am def trading in my 6 for it.

Rumours are: - either 8 or 8.2 inch inner display - wider cover display with 21:9 aspect ratio (same as Sony slab phones so it's a normal phone ratio, although still on the narrower side of normal phones) - 200MP main sensor camera (the other cameras stay the same) - 9.5mm thickness folded - 4.5mm unfolded - same battery as all the previous folds :(

Obviously these are rumours so cannot be guaranteed. But I've followed rumours for the fold 4, 5, 6 and SE and the same sources got the specs mostly right for those models before they were announced. So I have confidence in these rumours as past experience has given me.

ecoATM? if you're waiting for the Fold7, why not trade it in to Samsung for credit? i traded my Fold5 for the S25U and got over $900+ off my purchase. my Fold5 was not in the best condition cosmetically and they still accepted it thankfully

Was just about to say this. They will most likely give at or close to 1,000 for the 5 when trading it in. Don't ever sell your phone to ecoatm, they literally lowball the hell out of you on valuation, it's sad.

So do I but 20 watt charging vs. 120? Honor Magic and Oppo charge a hell of a lot faster.
