I don’t like it at all. Sound-wise it sounds too childish, and it’s very similar to Schnapps, the liquor.

It would be appropriate for a child if it sounds childish, and then he could be called Snappy as he gets older.

And as for the liquor - Jack Daniels is a liquor too but there are still boys named Jack and Daniel.

I also knew a girl classmate in high school named Tequila.
