Are there any tips and tricks on how to keep a high credit score without keeping ANY credit cards open?

I cut up 7 credit cards in January because my family mandated me to do so. Two new credit cards were still on the way in the mail at that time so I still have 2 credit cards left. Thankfully, I didn't start any balances with either of them, to this day.

I'm afraid to close those two cards because I know my FICO score will drop further, so do you know any tips and tricks on how to keep a high FICO score without having ANY credit cards open? Thanks in advance.

Just have them open and use them and don’t tell your family if that’s an option if it’s not for some reason, your phone bill reports to the credit bureaus

I've never had a phone bill that reported to the bureaus. Maybe it's possible, but it's not the norm.

Cutting the cards doesn't close the account.

I worried that you had many balances, and were getting additional cards to be able to continue spending :)

Freeze them in a block of ice in the back of the freezer.

Either your familly has an issue, or you have a SERIOUS one.
There's no drawback to having credit cards instead of debit... as long you spend responsibly and pay it off in full.

Your credit score reflects how much lenders trust you. Why would you be a "good customer" if you are requiring familly intervention to use cards responsibly?
