My family just made me cut up all of the credit cards in my possession. I also uninstalled a World War 2-themed FPS mobile app game.

I love OSRS, but I worry that the temptation of membership might not work for OP. I often preach a balanced approach to finances, though, as going cold turkey makes me relapse harder whenever I fully deprive myself of something.

Also, I hate to say it but you could probably consider bonds a micro transaction in this context. If having the option to spend real money to get ahead exists at all, it may be too much of a risk.

(I do really love OSRS though, and the option to buy membership with GP makes it a good fit for me as I rarely need to spend money on membership! it's a better model for me than other P2P MMOs.)
