As a child, when I read a list of facts about elephants, I learned that they die at age 70 due to starvation since they cannot chew when their teeth fall out. Are there elephant dentures and implants nowadays?

As a child, when I read a list of facts about elephants, I learned that they die at age 70 due to starvation since they cannot chew when their teeth fall out. Are there elephant dentures and implants nowadays?

Question

How much longer do they get to live when Dentures or implants are put in them in order to keep eating like before?

I also learned that elephants can never get cancer because of some kind of unique genetic makeup, so what else do they die from in their old age? And how long do they live with dentures and implants?

I have a couple of old horses with very short teeth. I take alfalfa pellets and soak them (hot water if it’s cold), until it’s mushy/soupy. I add a cup of applesauce, cup of bran, and serve. They sound like cartoon pigs when they slurp it up.

Somebody must Favorite that elephant, it caused a lot of discomfort for the elephant especially in the beginning because it have to be implanted to the bone it self, I can imagine a Price for the work , and the time with Unique experience the dentist must head

I could only find one case of dentures for elephants but the link was 21 years old and I couldn't find any update.

Elephants do get cancer.
