Fun little tune-- my main piece of constructive feedback is about the vocal delivery (and one I've gotten from the friend I record with when I haven't memorized/feel confident with the lyrics): it feels like you're reading the lyrics off a page. Try rehearsing them a bunch and really getting them in your body and then record them-- you'll probably notice a difference in delivery, timing, confidence, etc. There's some funny lines in there that that could help set up better. Otherwise, maybe consider processing the vocals a little more (eq, add a light room delay [as is it sounds like you're singing straight into a sm58-- not a bad sound per se, but a little effecting can go a long way]). I like it. I knew a lot of people who are kinda "done with" country stuff. This a fun track. Having fun with music is what it's all about (in my opinion) so keep up the fun work my friends. And hopefully you'll get better gear along the way. So you can record your stuff better.

I'll leave you a critique if you make a separate thread about that song, but would you please leave a critique about the lyrics and performance on mine? All you basically did was just advertise one of your songs on a post about one of mine.

hahahaha. no need to leave a critique of mine i was really high when i saw this and was trying to be funny. I can't really make heads or tails of whether the lyrics are funny but the vocals are mixed way too high and could be recorded better. Parody thing doesn't really work if you can't hear the music being parodied.
