Son of W.A.Y. parody: Mortgage Fraud

  • Mortgage Fraud
    • Contrafactum of "For The Longest Time" by Billy Joel
    • This contrafactum is to go over what constitutes mortgage fraud, why anyone might be tempted to commit it, and how serious it is. (If there's room in the contrafactum, mention what the penalties could be.)
    • This tune was thought of when I met Adam Litzinger, a loan originator at Central National Bank (Founder's Hill Branch) in Manhattan, KS, who told me he couldn't get me a home loan unless I made at least $50,000/year in a line of work related to my major/field, because I owed (at the time, before discharges and modifications) $106,000 in student loans in May 2013. I told him, "I wish there was just some way to hide all these student loans somehow!" To that, he replied, "That's mortgage fraud."

    • What Is Mortgage Fraud? - Experian
  • Music video ideas
    • A montage of photos and videos of any artifacts pertaining to mortgage fraud and/or anyone committing mortgage fraud and the consequences is to be shown in the music vid.
    • As budgets improve, actors can be hired to portray a lendee committing mortgage fraud, the loan originator giving them the undeserved loan, and etc.
  • Lyric ideas
    • Replace all occurrences of "For The Longest Time" with "That Is Mortgage Fraud."
  • LYRICS:
    • (To be penned sometime.)
