If a lot of people shower 10 minutes a day once a day, then 10 minutes of showering provides 1 day of freshness. Therefore, if I shower for 35 minutes, would it provide 3 1/2 days of freshness?

I only shower every 3-4 or so days for that reason. I think I stay cleaner longer when I have longer showers.

No. Freshness is not a function of the shower duration, false correlation.

If it works for you, don't change the formula. The correlation is just false. Freshness and cleanliness are both influenced by your activities and biology. For example if you work in waste disposal you will not be clean or fresh at the end of the day. If you have a propensity for sweating it can reduce your freshness.
