Are there statistics of recidivism rates by state?

What states have the highest recidivism rates? Those ought to be the states for felons to avoid living in.

What states have the lowest recidivism rates? Those ought to be the states for felons to move to.

Obviously, states with lower recidivism rates will have felon friendly employment programs and various other kinds of programs to help felons become self-sufficient without turning to a life of crime again.

I'm sure these could be Googled up, but I would like for this thread to show up on Google also.

The problem with your logic is that nimbyism and not logic plays the predominant role. Thus a state will make their state having the worst felon reentry system so everyone moves elsewhere to rebuild their lives.

Recidivism is not state dependent. It's person dependent. The state isn't making you commit the crime (unless you're a politician)
